The following is a summary of the article, "10 Ways to Help ELLs Succeed in Math." As an ELL math teacher, this is very relevant to my experience and passion. The article has many ideas and suggestions for teachers. Interestingly, all of these suggestions incorporates reading and English into a math classroom, which aligns with Common Core standards. After my summary is an activity that uses five of the ten suggestions.
